DETROIT – Kim Shanahan has assumed the position of marketing manager for DTS, STS and professional vehicles, according to a news release. Shanahan replaced Kurt Ghering and is responsible for strategic market planning and execution for these vehicles. Ghering is now marketing manager on the CTS platform.
Shanahan has held a number of assignments in her 20-year General Motors career. Previous assignments include: Hummer product manager, Hummer and SAAB marketing manager, distribution and cross vehicle planning with GM’s International Product Center and working at Pontiac East Assembly Plant.
“The livery and funeral products are integral to Cadillac’s portfolio. I am anxious to learn more about the industry and to meet our customers at the national trade shows. There is new energy at Cadillac as we re-invent this great luxury brand,” Shanahan said.
